What would happen if you took Garfield out of all the Garfield comic strips? What would you be left with? Perhaps the existential angst of a certain young Mr. Jon Arbuckle. As Jim Davis, the man behind this idea states:
“It is a journey deep into the mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness and depression in a quiet American suburb.”
The thing that makes this idea cool is the fact that it works, and soo well.
