Funeral Dress Pact
I like this story. It isn’t about embarrassment, but about staying true to your friends. Unless your friends are dicks, which I’m guessing this isn’t the case. It was a pact that only a true friend would keep:
Two British soldiers, Barry Delaney and Kevin Elliot had made a promise to each other. If either of them were to die at war, the other had to attend his funeral wearing a dress. Kevin Elliot was killed in Afghanistan. As a true friend, Barry Delaney kept their promise and arrived at the funeral wearing a lime green dress, hot pink socks, and boots.
