W I N G M A N: GAME OVER [F]
The film which I began one week too late was intended for a $10,000 cash prize film competition. First thing remotely creative I have done with my life in at least 3 years.

Two weeks into it and I realized it wasn’t even about winning or getting it done for submission into this competition any more. It was about finishing what you start. I couldn’t even do that right. I don’t want to waste my life thinking I can do things when I really can’t you know. Everything is a learning experience I guess.
Hi Findlay! Yikes for some reason I only saw this email now…do you have a film underway that you can submit?
I’ll extend your application deadline till next Tuesday the 17th if thats the case.
ARRRRGGG!!!!
Hey Grace! That’s awesome news that I’d get an extension on my application deadline…Unfortunately things fell apart pretty quick on the project.
For one, my main actor left for Australia last week before filming was complete and before that our location was compromised by his family wedding.
Not all bad news though. I learnt a lot about what it takes to shoot a short film and how much I love it and feel about finishing what I start.
I’ll finish it one day. But thanks for this opportunity. It was, as stated, very liberating.
This reminds me of losing on a game of Ridge Racer –
“Too bad, you blew it. Better luck next time. GAME OVER.”
You’re damn right next time.
