Edvard Grieg’s “Peer Gynt” by the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra, Flash Mob Style
In my opinion, this is the best and classiest flash mob I’ve seen. There’s a stupid program on television called ‘Mobbed’ which is the opposite of what I think a flash mob should be. A surprise not sprung on one unsuspecting individual, but a treat for everyone to enjoy. Lucky Copenhagen Metro passengers:
In April 2012 Copenhagen Phil (Sjællands Symfoniorkester) surprised the passengers in the Copenhagen Metro by playing Griegs Peer Gynt. The flash mob was created in collaboration with Radio Klassisk http://radioklassisk.dk/. All music was performed and recorded in the metro.
