Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn [web-series]
Mass Effect 3 wasn’t that long ago, but I haven’t been as excited for a game in a long time, especially a first person shooter. Halo 4 not only looks to be pushing the Xbox360’s graphics capabilities to its maximum potential, but the story sounds amazing, and if the promotional material is anything to go by, then this game is going to seriously rock!
Coinciding with the imminent release of Halo 4 the ever popular first person shooter in the HALO saga; 343 Industries have put together an impressive web-series. Hastati Squad, the newest batch of freshman cadets at the UNSC’s Corbulo Academy of Military Science, pays the price for cadet Thomas Lasky’s tactics:
The first series on the web I liked came out in the late 90s and used early flash animation. The days of really low-bandwidth. Web series thereafter were either OK or like extremely short jokes or fizzed out due to unpopularity. Forward Unto Dawn is epic in comparison with production values rivaling many feature films. I hope this starts a trend within the gaming industry, because Hollywood sucks at it. Enjoy:
