‘PlayStation 4’ Officially Announced Today

Sony announced the new machine at a two-hour presentation in New York City, during which the Japanese hardware maker showed off a whole bunch of games and demos:

Technically, the next-generation PS4 will be glorious, allowing developers a new platform to push the boundaries of gaming. I also read that though the PS4 will not be backwards compatible, meaning it wont take your PS1, PS2 or PS3 discs, you will be able to access and play them through some-sort of live streaming.
