🎭

Two weeks ago I had a meeting with an academic adviser, Sophie, about my study plans. All we really ended up talking about were ourselves. It was good. She got the impression that I liked getting out and doing things, so she recommended I see a few uni-produced plays and that I check this out — Lounge#30

I’m still on the fence about it. The only times I’ve dabbled in poetry was when I was super emotional and morbid about my existence or just really frustrated with others; something I avoid nowadays. I am curious how others use poetry to express themselves though? But I swear, if someone waxes lyrical about how happy-happy-joy-joy it is to skip with their friends on a sun-shiny day, I’m flying the coop AND MAKING A SCENE!
