Excellent Moon Landing China
China has successfully landed a spacecraft probe on the surface of the extraterrestrial body we call the moon — China’s first lunar rover mission, and the first robotic observer to be deployed on the moon in over 3 decades. Welcome to the next epoch of space exploration, China:
I think it goes without saying, but please, none of this Mars rover “Spirit” (2004) nonsense while on the lunar surface:
2.5 billion dollar trip to Mars — money well spent. Believe it or not, the phallic design in that panoramic picture caused an influx of visitors to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory website, causing the space agency’s servers to crash. Although the rover takes a team of NASA engineers to operate, NASA denied involvement and are sticking to the story that the rover made these calibrated maneuvers on its own. …OK.

No matter how you choose to look at the cost of space exploration, anything that furthers our knowledge of the fabric of existence is always money well spent. The more nations capable of traversing space, the better, I say. WooHoo China!
