Excellent synth, and the cinematographer managed to recreate a real 80s B-movie horror aesthetic that compliments the song so well — I love it:

Love triumphs in the end aye. I didn’t understand the first watch through, but now I gather that the girl is used as bait to lure the real bad guy back to his own lair of sadism.
