Hatewatch: MTV’s “Are You The One”
My sister coined the phrase “hatewatching” (pronounced: “You’s a hatewatchin”) after she entered the room and I couldn’t stop talking smack about what I was watching. It’s an adequate phrase, especially for this nonessential MTV drama “Are You The One”
I’ve given up voicing my concerns and debunking the show’s creditability and have come to enjoy love triangles being disrupted and things getting broken. Personally, I don’t believe anyone can calculate love, thank fuck.
The first match up, I liked because both Dillan and Coleysia seemed genuinely nice. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the second match up or for any other couples in the house.
But there are a few singles that I want to see happy…ish (as much happiness as the bubble of this show can possibly provide at least) and they are:
