Holy Smoke Batman!

Holy banana splits! Paula may have reached a previously untapped demographic of Batman fans:

Don’t Swallow [NSFW…ish]

•October 25, 2011 • Leave a Comment

The most awkward moment in game show history. The category? Things that you put in your mouth but don’t swallow. The outcome (pun not intended) says a lot about the show’s researchers. How could they not expect someone to think this:

Cringeworthy. I think the woman should have really considered her answer, given the show’s sensibilities, but I blame the host for making this worse than it actually was. And also diluting the humor somewhat. AND the stations editors for broadcasting. Sheesh. I love it!

VOTE PAULA GILLON [street art]

No need hiding that secret identity now; Paula has a knack for helping her community:

Labour’s candidate for the Northcote Electorate, Paula Gillon.

I hope you are all registered to vote in this year’s general election and referendum held November 26th (good date) Personally I’d rather not disclose my political standpoints (I’d love to discuss my father’s though, his name has cropped up on a few infamous government lists in the past hehe) but I think the Labour Party has a good billboard campaign going for them. I haven’t even noticed the other signs, drawn to the minimalistic and dominant red design of Labour’s signposts.

On a relevant note; vandalism is distasteful and NOT OK. Good sense of humour though Paula. I also feel obliged to point out that me and “Batman” are related. Cool huh 😀

In 2001 Paula became New Zealand’s youngest ever elected City Councillor and represented the Harbour Ward in North Shore City.

During her three years as an elected City Councillor she was appointed as a Council representative to the Birkenhead Northcote Community Board as well as the Glenfield Community Board.

Best Engagement Pictures Ever

Juliana and Ben’s friend and photographer Amanda Rynda helped them pull off what has to be one of the best sets of engagement photos; really sets a mood of love:

Love and marriage are beautiful things. A luxury two people work towards achieving and of course you’d want to make the most of and capture every special moment there is to be had, which is why I think we can all agree, these two lovebirds have taken the best engagement pictures ever:

I tend not to muck around with my shooters, aiming for the highly skilled one shot kills, but this guy takes arcade rail-shooters to a-whole-nother level, acting out every bit of the action in front of the screen:

I’ve seen this behavior before, he’s totally living with First-Person Shooter Disease.

SLACKLINING

There is always an element of danger (and injury) in all these new-wave action sports, which is often their mark of appeal. Not to mention, this looks fun:

If you put breakdancing, gymnastics, a trampoline and tightrope walking all in a blender, something similar to slacklining would probably be the result.

It’s crazy that no one had thought of this before, or rather, diligently executed a shot-for-shot remake as well as this young lad here:

The best conversation starter at a BBQ ever. You’ll want everyone to see it, but just remember to always keep it out of direct sunlight. Happy painting 🙂

The Filmography of Tom Selleck’s Mustache [movie montage]

Everyone knows that the greatest and most iconic contribution to Cinema is Tom Selleck’s Moustache. So great is it that there isn’t a single film that would not be improved by the inclusion of Tom Selleck’s Moustache. Here’s proof:

This is one of my favourite videos on the internet, and will probably remain that way for a long time. These are amazing creatures and the music is perfectly complimentary:

The music is the instrumental version of “No One is Alone” from “Into the Woods” by John Williams. The original music and lyrics of “Into the Woods” is by Stephen Sondheim.

I feel good.
