Crossroads

•June 28, 2011 • Leave a Comment

I am at a crossroad at the moment. I am not depressed, more like suppressed and angry but no time to think or constructively write about how I feel or what I’m going through. Nothing surprises me lately. Happiness seems ephemeral. My situation isn’t as drastic as me literally being at the crossroads and making a deal with the devil. But there are times when I would stick around to hear his offer…

The Spherical Helicopter

I WANT IT! I can see this appearing in a movie one day; it has that look to it. Apparently developed for the military, this spy ball is meant for battlefield information gathering only:

😀 Love the use of Kenny Loggins “Highway to the Danger Zone” which of course was used in the iconic Top Gun (1986) All this needs now are some ray-guns!

I love the Mass Effect universe; it’s so rich and the sounds and writing is top-notch! Just as immersive as any good film. I can’t wait to conclude this epic sci-fi saga using my own saved data:

Witness Commander Shepard’s heroic struggle to save the planet Earth from total destruction in this new Mass Effect 3 trailer.

Speaking of sci-fi sagas; I just found out there’s going to be a Halo 4!

‘Portal’ Cosplay Show

Pretty cool for a cosplayer to put on a fun, choreographed show for the audience; very brave, albeit, super geeky!

Cosplayers Ninja of the Night take on Portal with this amusing low-budget stage show which won the “Most Dramatic” award at FanimeCon.

Rob Beschizza over at BoingBoing made this great, original MIDI cover of “Mad World,” by Tears for Fears. Enjoy this awesome montage of death scenes from classic 8-bit games:

Because this makes me feel something, I find it, beautiful. It definitely stimulates a nerve for me; I like it a lot.

Cool. Dedicated concentration to intricate details seem to be something these people had in common. Had someone told me these were done by the same person, I might have believed them. Art is a great thing!
