Purple Tomatoes

A European group of researchers have successfully expressed genes from the Snapdragon flower in tomatoes, resulting to deep-purple colored tomatoes with unprecedentedly high anthocyanin content at concentrations comparable to the anthocyanin levels found in blackberries and blueberries.

The expression of the two transgenes increased the hydrophilic antioxidant capacity of tomato fruit threefold and a pilot animal study demonstrated that cancer-susceptible Trp53-/- mice fed a diet supplemented with the high-anthocyanin tomatoes showed a significant extension of life span.

Cadbury Adverts

Let me get this straight: Europe gets a sexy-lady in purple lingerie fishnet stockings vinyl corset and stilettos, and us kiwis get a Gorilla (the antonym to a sexy-lady in lingerie) playing drums to Phil Collins – In the Air Tonight!!!

This might be a contributing factor to why I choose to consume Whitakers Chocolate.

WASSUP

Times have changed for the Wassup guys since we first met them eight years ago…… here’s a reminder of how they were back then:

And now:

There’s a tragic-comic political message here and they’re using their quintessential/novelty advert to encourage a good cause.

MapleStory is said to be the world’s first side-scrolling online multiplayer role-playing game and Mapleglobal is built for players mainly outside of Europe, Southeast Asia and East Asia. [Over 50 million… yikes]

Hmm, I don’t think the punishment fits the crime: come’on Japan, and all over such a teabag-ass game as well. Ever heard of FarCry?

Artist Ryan Cashman has put together a fantastic video that will brighten your day, as only a piano-playing extraterrestrial can:

“I wrote the music and recorded it first. The frames were photographed with a Canon Rebel using 20-30 second exposure time. I used a small green LED keychain light to draw each frame. Once all the positions were photographed they were strung together and synchronized to the music in After Effects.” ~ Ryan Cashman

Debasing – Sex Aid for Disabled

•October 25, 2008 • Leave a Comment

I think this is a demeaning thing to intrude on a human. Sex has nothing to do with my view; it’s all about someone else imposing an action to be taken on behalf of a – as they say “intellectually impaired” person.

Aid!!! A hand job… What the Hell?!

What do you think about this?

No Tina Fey :(
