TRUE BLOOD is Sweet

Only by chance did I manage to catch the first episode of True Blood last night, and I gotta say, I liked it!

This photo was taken here in Auckland, New Zealand [where the series has just begun], and is [obviously] the marketing campaign for True Blood – And a cool one at that:

“They’re made of wood, and the stakes are designed to snap off in case a vampire attacks. They’re screwed down though, which makes them safer but rather counterproductive.”

New Zealand actress, Anna Paquin plays a pretty cool character – a bar waitress with psychic abilities, and she totally dominates the show. There was a cheesy, graphic vampire sex scene with jiggling boobs, a hilarious irate black woman and people even said the F and C words. hehe

The “Prime” channel is free to air here, so they don’t censor anything. Sweet huh.
