Live-Action Remake of the ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Intro! + Swedes [DIY]
I’ve always been a fan of …Swede… This was a phrase coined by Director Michel Gondry for his uuber-kid-friendly-(so-much-so-I-felt-it-underminded-my-intellegence-to-have-paid-to-watch-it-in-the-cinema)-film, Be Kind Rewind. I love this mans work, he’s so creative, but I wasn’t feeling that film at all.
What this film created in its genius viral marketing, was a world-wide phenomenon where people remake their favourite movie trailers, scenes or super-spliced-short movies, in the most budget and fun way they can. This is Sweding; and it’s awesome!
The video you’re about to see is special because it didn’t rely on big-budget effects or high-paid actors; the force behind it was pure passion. And a ridiculous amount of free time:
Turtle power! We’ve all done this growing-up, only these chaps caught it on film…and they’re old. More? I’ll just leave these here then:

I think the key to these are to make them funny. The really, really good ones that are bang on the dime, aren’t as interesting to me for some reason. Have any thoughts or homemade swedes?

Mantabs iki…
is very good film
