BITS vs PICS — A Comparison of NES Video Games with their Iconic Movie Counterparts

NYC artist John McGregor, aka Brother Brain makes awesome pixel animations from old school video games. This ongoing miniseries celebrates the licensed 8-bit replicas from the NES era, where popularity for movie character video games first gained an audience, today it’s practically expected of a summer blockbuster to come with a video game tie-in. Here’s where it began:
