Very kind of the Queen to wear green-screen for the Internet to chroma key and enjoy — Her Majesty’s bright green birthday suit was a hot topic of conversation on social media during the Trooping the Colour ceremony, mostly because it was so bright!

Trooping the Colour is a ceremony performed by regiments of the British and Commonwealth armies. It has been a tradition of British infantry regiments since the 17th century, when the Colours of a regiment were used as a rallying point in battle. Since 1748, Trooping the Colour has also marked the official birthday of the British sovereign. For many today, however, it took on a new meaning; a 21st century meaning:
