This is one of the best fan films of anything I have seen. Not only is it of high quality production value but it reinvents and gives character to our yellow pie shaped hero justifiably:
PAC-MAN The Movie (The Fan Film) and its associated trailers are fan-made shorts created to celebrate the awesomeness that is (and will always be) Pac-Man.
The creator of this remarkable video says that he or she threw a paper airplane out of an 18th floor window. I like this video. Do I find it tranquil? Curious birds.
I looked through other people’s comments to figure out why I like it so:
I suppose that flight pattern closely resembles that of an injured bird.

…thank goodness for a video maker who refrains from the typical inane commentary during the filming.

You might be expecting a leisurely flight to the ground, or perhaps cruising for an incredible distance before touching down.

You probably wouldn’t be expecting a pair of vindictive birds, or for the person filming all this to remain eerily quiet.
The Firefly Squid (Watasenia scintillans) inhabits the Western Pacific and is famously found in Toyama Bay, Japan. The 3-inch long creatures employ bioluminescent glands in each tentacle to attract and hunt prey. [Sparkling Enope Wiki]
An amazing high-definition look at Earth’s most unusual microscopic organisms, with organs resembling your typical larger vertebrates; they’re the tiniest animals alive!
I’m not fond of the city after the sun goes down because that’s when, what seems like, all the self-indulgent drunks and nightclubbing school kids come out. That’s not my crowd and I don’t like getting caught amongst it all.
Last night I was roaming through the city to get to point-B (a home-cooked meal) when a young Indian fellow was dancing to the beat of his own drum in the square by himself. He was twirling towards me looking like an octopus with a massive grin. He saw me and held out his hand for a high-five. I denied him that high-five. I shook my head and kept walking, to which he stopped dancing and held his arms out and said “how rude man.” End of story.
Well, that would be the end of the story had this happened to anyone else I know, then again I’m almost certain, superstitiously so that these things never happen to my friends for some uncanny reason. After that incident, I couldn’t stop thinking about what just happened. Weird to say and admit but it’s true; I felt bad and couldn’t think why or why I should care about that guy at all. Was it because he called me rude and may have been right in that instance?
Later that night, I told my mum about it (yes I like discussing shit with my mother) but tried disguising my story as whimsical, but she had one thing to say to me. I told her “the dude was probably drunk and high, on drugs!”, but she just repeated herself. She said, “don’t judge.”
I kinda feel better. However, now I wish I had given that fool the best high-five he ever asked for! I am not rude, I’d just rather not touch strangers in town.
In saying that, I’m sure there’s a rule about not inducing a high-five moment especially if only one participant feels said moment. No?
That’s my silly little story, and I still hate the city at night.
This is an amazingly complex choreographed routine that has America’s TeamiLuminate and Japanese crew WreckingCrewOrchestra working together, using wearable lighting systems to boost their performances; they both have the same bright idea:
Teamwork and synergy on display. I’m not sure which came first (above or below), but there is a cellphone in Japan called the XPERIA that have used Wrecking Crew’s swagger to showcase their equally impressive tech. Speaking personally, I think their talent outweighs and will outlast any piece of hardware. Advert is still cool though:
Apparently 60’s Batman is a coward. I think the dude just knows when it’s better to throw in the towel and live to fight another day, especially when up against T-1000!
Enjoy the novelty value before it dissipates, because once you’ve seen Batman and Robin run from the worst of it, you can imagine there isn’t anything they wouldn’t run from. Literally, anything. HOLY BANANA SPLITZ!

Net proceeds from this year’s fun run will go to the Child Cancer Foundation, Kidz First Children’s Hospital, the Make a Wish Foundation and the Garden to Table Trust.
One more week before the big run! If you’re free this coming Sunday 18 why not take a stroll along the Auckland coastline in support of good health and charity. But don’t do it just for the catch up and food, if you’re a part of a team with a BBQ camp set-up at the finish line, be prepared to have your expectations squashed…
…Let me just wipe this tear. Last year, the one food that kept coming to mind and accompanying my thoughts during my arduous attempt at running, haunting my gasping breath and tired mind, was the perfect picture of a cool, delicious, massive slice of watermelon! But alas what was waiting for me were bananas. Albeit a bottomless chilly bin of unlimited bananas, but not even the tastiest banana could quench my lust for the beloved melon. I love watermelon. Seeds and all. Hang on, what was I talking about here?

I usually return found goods back to their respective owners, but I found this torn picture book under a cabinet and in the Adult Observation Unit, so whoever cool person it belonged to had long since been discharged. …Mine!
It’s actually rubbish, but for the life of me I can’t just throw it away, It’s Star Wars! And besides, how many people at work can say they have Star Wars memorabilia in their locker? Uno that’s how many. Now, will I look boss reading this during lunch?
This is a LEGO tribute to the end of the space shuttle era, courtesy of Raul Oaida, his team and the German Airtraffic Control. I wonder if there will ever be a time when launching stuff into space gets old?
