The Apple iPad …I WANT IT!!!

•January 28, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Steve Jobs presents Apple’s new tablet, the iPad, and it looks pretty darn nifty.

Think of it as a notebook without the bulk weight of an attached keyboard, which was merely a halfway step away from the typewriter.

This man is a technological master when it comes to form and function. I can definitely see myself, any and everywhere with an iPad, yup yup yup:

I WANT IT!!!

Pokémon As Traditional Japanese Art

•January 26, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Now this is what I’m talking about; Pokémon drawn as if they were demons from 12th century old Japanese scrolls. Come to think of it, Pokémon set in feudal Japan would be pretty sweet. Less plush-toy and more badass, mythological, original Pokémon!!!

Hey funk you, these are cool!

This girl does the entire Tae Kwon Do White Belt test plus a professional wrestling match…with her hand. There are also some push-ups and sit-ups in there, just to show off:

100 Cheesiest Movie Lines Of All Time [compilation]

Loaded with sappy one-liners and come-backs; not surprisingly, it’s weighted heavily towards Arnold, Stallone, and Keanu:

This is long but a pretty f’n impressive reminder of how much pure cheese-dickness Hollywood has churned out over the years. Must have taken the folks at Pajiba forever to compile it.

Nothing says GEEK more than replicas of famous science fiction gadgets:

Star Trek fan-boys rejoice!  Jay, Hackmod.com’s DIY laser expert, has created the ultimate homage to the iconic Phaser gun used in the classic outer-space series.  The “weapon”  was built using a 12X blu-ray diode from a Pioneer BDR-205 drive, a toy Phaser, and a few other bits and pieces.

American Idol Auditions – Patrick Ford

The new season of American Idol kicked off last night and the auditions, as expected were nothing short of entertaining. Of course the judges found some good singers, but there was a great deal of crap. Some of which came from genuinely good people, like Patrick here who I thought was crack up:

Na’vi Sex by Harry Partridge [animation] [NSFW]

•January 22, 2010 • Leave a Comment

People are obsessed with how the Na’Vi people do it. What with SNL’s video, Hustler’s Avatar XXX parody and others. We swore we’d back off, then we saw this NSFW Na’vi cartoon. I’m pretty ashamed, but I laughed:

I wanted to make this due to the fact it bugged me in the movie that Jake managed to nail Neytiri with little to no knowledge of Na’vi mating practices.

I mean, I’m assuming it’s pretty similar, but considering they have magic hair veins that connect with nature, there’s obviously some pretty big anatomical differences…

Harry is the same guy that made Disney’s Akira

Safe Sex PSA [NSFW…ish]

•January 21, 2010 • Leave a Comment

A clever Safe Sex/AIDS awareness PSA takes gross bathroom grafitti and makes it kind of playful and cute …Kind of… Obscene at first, it does convey a solid message about safe sex… and that message gets a little, err, embellished at the end:
