Using over 260 individual mods, from faces to outfits, UpIsNotJump has managed to recreate the entire original season 1 trailer to Game of Thrones using Skyrim:
“I have used Skyrim to recreate Game of Thrones at last. I am starting with the season 1 trailer but I will most likely do every Game of Thrones trailer as time goes on. This video features over 260 Skyrim mods so that every Game of Thrones asset from the Season 1 trailer looks just right.”
Not fond of these annoying reminders I tell ya, I am this close to becoming a Jehovah Witness! (they believe we have one birthday and that is it. Which I like. …But hang on, then there’s the yearly free cake… Cake always wins.)
Sorry friends, I have a strict don’t-care-to-ask-don’t-care-to-say policy. #lonerlyfe
Hold on to your eyeballs. Lovin Malta says Manwel Gauci of the Santa Katarina VM fireworks club made this 573lb ball of daylight. This was in September — imagine what their New Year’s celebration is like:
Leesha Tāre (aka. Leesha Ragdoll) as Leeloominaï Lekatariba Lamina-Tchaï Ekbat De Sebat — aka. Leeloo!!
I didn’t realise at the time but I had sat next to one of the previous life models, Madam Mutiny, who was trying her hand being the sketcher this time around. We got to talking during one of the breaks and she told she was studying religious iconography. How fucking cool! Up until that moment I had wanted to say something nice about her brightly coloured pink hair but got distracted in conversation. Matthew was also there that evening sitting in the row in front of me next to one of his friends, Nichole. He introduced me to her. We swapped pads and looked at each others work, and yup, just as I expected, she’s a natural.
Tonight’s atmosphere was great. I LOVE THE FIFTH ELEMENT!!
Apart from the Zorg ZF-1Pod Weapon and the GIMME’DA CAAASSH!!! guy, these are some of the sketches I drew on the night:
Hehe, OK so the above picture was a sketch challenge. MC Lilly Loca asked us to re-imagine Leeloo’s skin revealing thermal bandages. The humour of it will make a lot more sense if you remember as well as I do this one particular frame from the film:
“Perfect.” I crack me up. Love this film. Love Dr. Sketchy.
Jolene is busy chewing on her Gumby toy and minding her own business, when her owner dressed as her favorite character enters the room, dressed as her favorite chew toy come to life:
They obviously share a close friendship. It’s easy to understand why someone would expect a different reaction though, Gumby is pretty abstract.
Entitled “In Cammino Per Trasformarsi Nell’istante Presente” (Moving to transform into the present), the installation speaks about time and how it changes all material.
The sculpture can be seen in the garden of the Museo Archeologico “Paolo Giovio” in Italy. Made of dead trees and roots that were collected in the forest, no tools or nails were used to assemble the pieces, it just fit one into another:
